If you got the following error when accessing latest phpMyAdmin:

PHP Parse error:  parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /var/www/phpmyadmin/libraries/Error_Handler.class.php on line 25

Check your PHP version. Probably you still using PHP version 4. Upgrade your PHP or use old phpMyAdmin version (2.x).
